Creating compelling video for social media
Video is becoming an increasingly important way to communicate on various social media channels. Governments should and can use video in compelling ways to reach across traditional and new audiences to drive civic engagement and strengthen existing relationships with key stakeholders. This session will show you how.

Jessica Kiney (SAO)
Jessica Kiney is the New Media Manager for the Washington State Auditor’s Office, responsible for managing digital content for the Office including website, video, social media, and more. A native of northern Illinois, Jessica joined the Washington State Auditor’s Office in 2014. Her prior role was managing organizing communications for a Teamster’s Local in Chicago. She has a Master’s of Business Administration with an emphasis in marketing and a Master’s of Humanities with an emphasis in communications and English. Jessica has a special place in her heart for garnering civic engagement through the use of visual storytelling tools. |
